Who we are

LocalLift (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Local Lift AI LLC, a Florida limited liability company. We provide online visibility and marketing tools for local service businesses.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Free audit form: business name, email address, and city/state
  • Account registration: name, email, and password (managed by Clerk, our authentication provider)
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number
  • Business data: Google Business Profile information, reviews, and photos you connect to the platform

Information collected automatically:

  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on our site
  • IP address and approximate location (city-level)
  • Referral source (how you found us)

How we use your information

  • To prepare and deliver your Visibility Score
  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services
  • To process payments and manage your subscription
  • To send service-related communications (audit results, account updates)
  • To send product updates and tips — only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe anytime
  • To respond to your questions and support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

We never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Period.

Third-party services

We use trusted third-party services to operate LocalLift. Each has their own privacy policy governing how they handle your data:

  • Clerk — authentication and account management
  • Stripe — payment processing (PCI DSS Level 1 compliant)
  • Convex — database and backend services
  • Vercel — website hosting and delivery

We only share the minimum information necessary for each service to function. None of these providers use your data for their own marketing.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how people use our site so we can make it better. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks.

Data security

We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) to protect data in transit. Your information is stored securely with access limited to authorized personnel. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days in case you reactivate, then delete it. Audit lead data (from the free audit form) is retained for up to 12 months, then automatically purged.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — ask us to fix any inaccurate information
  • Deletion — request we delete your data (we will comply within 30 days)
  • Opt out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email

California residents (CCPA):

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below.

Children's privacy

LocalLift is designed for business owners and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice on our site. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
